  • Following nearly 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Mark opened Morton Consulting in 2006. In March of 2009, Mark acquired Xperts to further build on Morton Consulting. His commitment, dedication and contagious can-do attitude are second to none. Mark’s strong team orientation and effective leadership skills allow him to lead by example and he works at all levels to place highly skilled professionals. He focuses on providing excellence with every placement. He personally handles executive level searches and does everything it takes to put exactly the right people in the right place. Specializing in IT and project management, Morton Consulting serves clients across a broad range of industries and helps them meet their business goals and objectives. Mark is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.

  • With six years IT recruiting experience and expertise, David has an impressive track record of success in matching highly skilled consultants with client needs. David works closely with clients to learn their business, culture, and environment in order to deliver top-level, specialized IT consultants or entire teams focused on delivering technical solutions. His goal is to deliver solutions that add value to our client’s business operations and information systems. Prior to joining Morton, David worked as an IT recruiter for Xperts, Inc, Solving IT International, and Quantum Resources. He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University – Pamplin College of Business.

  • Megan is a real people person with an incredibly dynamic personality. She enjoys getting to know our clients and consultants and helping to determine their objectives and strategies. She likes to consider herself a professional matchmaker and works closely with the rest of the Morton Team to put the right people in the right place. Prior to joining Morton, Megan worked as an Audit/Tax Intern at Keiter Stephens. She is a graduate of James Madison University.

  • Tracy brings over 13 years of experience to Morton. She maintains, organizes and oversees the day-to-day functions at Morton Consulting. She is the friendly first person you talk to on the phone and the smiling face that greets you at our front door. Master multi-tasker, Tracy provides weekly sales and recruiting reporting, plans and coordinates events, makes travel arrangements, and orders all promotional items, office supplies and equipment. Prior to joining Morton she was with Sterling Business Credit. She is a graduate of Washington Business School.

  • A recent graduate of Longwood University, Molly began building her HR skills while still a student.  She completed her thesis on the effects of social media on the recruiting process.  A Deans List student and member of the National Communication Honor Society Order of Omega, she was also the Director of Longwood’s Big Event.  She pulls all of these skills together to find the “perfect fit” candidate for each client.

Her bright and energetic personality is perfectly suited for her duties of prepping new hires, checking references, and handling employee benefits – just to name a few.  She regularly communicates with the Morton team to ensure everyone is happy and questions are answered.  Simply put, Alice keeps our offices running smoothly.  Alice graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a degree in psychology.

A trusted colleague and partner, Kay enjoys finding the right candidate for our clients by providing an open ear to their challenges and delving into their needs and culture. Outside of the office, Kay enjoys reading and spending time outside, preferably in the mountains or by the water. A Richmond native, she is a graduate of Virginia Tech.

Andrew believes in the same high standards as Morton, exceeding expectations in how he builds and maintains meaningful relationships with candidates. When not mining matches for Morton, Andrew prefers spending his weekends with his family, whether it's enjoying time together at the beach, seeking thrills at amusement parks or simply taking the dogs to the park.

Her knowledge of the inner workings of staffing—along with her strong organizational and interpersonal skills—makes Anna the perfect complement to our team of talented professionals.

Ren possesses daily excitement for her work, as well as an ongoing eagerness to learn more about the industry—both traits admired by the Morton team and culture. While she enjoys creating mixed-media collages and practicing yoga in her free time, Ren also has an adventurous side having traveled to over 25 countries and apprenticing at a Buddhist sculpture park in Thailand for 6 months.
